They\u00a0are supported by both volunteer and paid supervisors and have access to\u00a0extensive and up to date information and advice resources.<\/p>\n<p>Our advisers aim to provide clients with information and advice to help resolve\u00a0their issues. For clients needing more help we can provide further assistance\u00a0such as making telephone calls or drafting letters on their behalf.<\/p>\n<p>Clients regularly seek assistance with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relationship issues &#8211; Clients seek advice on their rights, financial matters\u00a0and how to resolve them<\/li>\n<li>Benefit checks and claims \u2013 initial assessments of clients benefit\u00a0entitlement and advice on claiming. Clients also seek advice\/assistance as a\u00a0result of financial hardship arising from delays or errors in benefit\u00a0payments. See also\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cabwhabac.org.uk\/index.php\/benefits\/\">Benefits<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Work and Employment \u2013 advising client of their rights in the work place or\u00a0after their employment has been terminated<\/li>\n<li>Consumer matters &#8211; Clients are often not aware of their rights and how to\u00a0address the situation<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Housing &#8211; Rent arrears, homelessness, issues with tenancy agreements \/\u00a0deposits, problems with an application for social landlords\u2019\u00a0accommodation. Contacting\u00a0us can often be the client\u2019s first step to addressing their debt problems.
